I like to paint flowers.

My mother loved to garden. Growing up and helping her plant flowers in our yard, I learned the names of flower varieties. Photographing beautiful flowers during my travels around the world, and attempting to paint them from my photographs brings me joy and pleasure, even if they’re only my impression of what I see.
